Built by the shipyard Hijos de J. Barreras, S.A.

Delivered in 2009, WG Columbus is the first in a series of four state-of-the-art seismic exploration vessels built at our facility.

It has an inverted bow design (X-Bow), which gives it a excellent behavior in adverse sea conditions. The ship has 12 streamers winches, 6 gun winches and is equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning system.
