Shipyards José Valiña, S.A., was founded in 1951 by Mr. José Valiña, being the only one in the city of A Coruña.

For over 60 years, the shipyard has been dedicated to the construction of steel hull ships of multiple types, floating artefacts, repairs, lengthenings and conversions, fabrication of diverse industrial and naval machinery, plus machining and assembly of metallic structures.

Our administrative core, along with the steel workshops, is located in La Grela industrial complex. These facilities are established in a lot of 9000 m2. The place is used both for heavy steel works, and for fabrication of machinery and equipment for industrial and naval use.

The shipbuilding activity is executed in the Oza dock area. It is a parcel of 21.900 m2, with 2 ramps available for construction or repair of all types of ships up to 120 m length.
